Huw Lloyd-Ellis has over 25 years of experience conducting academic research in a broad range of areas, including economic development, growth and inequality, economic fluctuations, fiscal policy and housing. His research has been published in leading academic journals, including the American Economic Review, the Review of Economic Studies and the International Economic Review. Huw has taken on several administrative roles, including head of the Queen’s Economics Department (2013-2019). He teaches development economics and macroeconomics at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
